The Online Safety Legal Team is a team of dedicated professionals within Apples legal department who advise the business on online safety related harms work to respond rapidly to customer reports of harmful content liaise with law enforcement on imminent threats review and report child sexual exploitation material CSEM to relevant law enforcement agencies and partner with Apples Trust u0026 Safety team to create and implement safety policies.
Collaborate with the Trust u0026 Safety Team to implement online safety policiesnReview customer reports of harmful content on Apples platform including CSEM reportsnProvide legal guidance regarding online safety regulations and reporting requirementsnLiaise with global law enforcement on imminent harm cases nDevelop internal documents for content moderation training workflows and processesnRespond quickly to time sensitive customer reports that may arise outside of standard work hours
5-7 years of legal experience focused on online safety issuesnFamiliarity with global online safety regulations CSEM legal reporting requirements and privacy lawsnJD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar
Clear and concise communication skillsnAbility to forge trusting relationships and work globally as a member of a cross functional geographically diverse teamnWillingness and ability to travel as needednAbility to remain calm under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines
