Pellitteri Waste Systems is seeking an experienced and dependable On-Site Service Technician to join our team at our Emmet (Watertown) location. This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of trailers and assisting with repairs on Class A semi tractors to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Responsibilities:
- Perform minor and major repairs on a fleet of 100 trailers
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections and troubleshooting
- Diagnose mechanical electrical brake suspension and ABS system issues
- Complete repairs on 5 Class A semi tractors as needed
- Identify and source replacement parts and materials required for repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of truck and trailer repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- ABS brake system knowledge required
- Ability to perform both minor and major trailer repairs independently
- Must provide your own tools and toolbox
- CDL is highly preferred and considered a valuable asset
- Strong work ethic reliability and attention to detail
