On-Call Spa Therapist

SPA THERAPIST

POSITION PURPOSE: The Spa Therapist is responsible for setting up treatment stations greeting guests and explaining services conducting pre-treatment consultations promoting treatment products and maintaining treatment rooms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Other duties may be assigned.)

• Maintain strong knowledge of spa operations treatments packages products equipment and property amenities.
• Prepare clean disinfect and restock treatment rooms and equipment before and after each service.
• Greet guests confirm services obtain required medical releases conduct consultations and explain proper draping procedures.
• Perform spa treatments according to company standards safety guidelines and applicable regulations.
• Recommend and sell appropriate spa products based on guest needs and preferences.
• Deliver personalized guest service including maintaining guest history records providing directions promoting property amenities and resolving concerns.
• Maintain a clean safe professional and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members supervisors managers and other departments.
• Participate in meetings and training on new products procedures programs events and service improvements.
• Follow all company policies and service standards while maintaining confidentiality of guest employee and company information.
• Assist with additional departmental duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

Education and/or Experience

• Secondary school degree preferred and/or previous work experience in service for at least 1 year.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of lifestyle hotel products and guest services.
• Must meet legal requirements for any required licensing.
• Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
