Pay Rate Base: $18.00-20.00 an hour (depending on experience and education)

Your Role & Impact

• Our Berea residential campus provides vital out-of-home care for boys and girls facing complex trauma mental health needs and academic or emotional struggles. As a Youth Care Specialist you will:
• Provide safe trauma-informed care for high-risk youth.
• Partner with caregivers and placing agencies to transition youth back home safely.
• Help empower the 26000 Ohioans we serve annually across our diverse programs.

Role Requirements

• Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 years of experience working with high-risk/at-risk youth corrections or mental health populations.
• Ability to pass a free pre-employment screening (fingerprint background check physical TB test and drug screen).
• Preferred Qualifications
• Associate or bachelors degree in psychology Social Work Mental Health Criminal Justice or Youth Development.
• Strong understanding of adolescent development crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
