Office Manager

Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:
  • Monitor and manage all aspects of the dealership financial operations including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger activities.

• Dealership Accounting:
  • Oversee the recording and reconciliation of financial transactions ensuring accuracy and adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and industry standards.
  • Manage the dealership financial documents collaborating with the accounting team as necessary.

• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance Accounting processes utilizing technology and best practices to increase efficiency and accuracy.

• Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead and manage the assigned accounting team providing guidance training and support to promote professional growth and performance excellence.
  • Oversee employee performance making sure they meet expectations and address any issues or concerns.
  • Assists when necessary to fill in for staff shortages due to vacancies leaves of absence etc.

• Relationship Building:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales service parts and operations to ensure alignment of financial goals and accurate reporting.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of Automotive experience as a Office Manager or Account Manager in an automotive dealership
• Dealership experience Only
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards in the automotive industry.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with team members senior management and external partners.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
