Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma HiSET or G.E.D
  2. Five years of work experience in an office setting or monitoring budgets

  4. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  6. Maintain confidentiality.

  8. Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public students and other employees.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Office Manager manages the school office and assists the administrator with general clerical duties and bookkeeping. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the district.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Manage day-to-day office activities by answering phones greeting visitors answering general questions and distributing mail.
  2. Perform clerical tasks such as making appointments; creating bulletins forms and surveys; preparing schedules; drafting communications and making copies.
  3. Maintain office equipment and supplies; order supplies as needed.
  4. Manage and maintain attendance records enrollment registration and student transfers.
  5. Maintain student records according to state and district guidelines.
  6. Manage payroll activities including the first-level review of timesheets tracking and submitting any additional hours for employees.
  7. Maintain financial accounting records according to district guidelines including PCards; process all billings and statements; record count and deposit all funds and issue receipts.
  8. Complete and document month end activities from the business office.
  9. Collaborate with the transportation department on transportation requests.
  10. Provide minor health care in the absence of the school nurse.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
