Tutor Perini is the general contractor for the HART City Center Guideway and Stations project. The scope of the approximately $1.66 billion contract includes the design and construction of six rail stations and approximately three miles of elevated rail guideway beginning just east of the Middle Street Transit Center Station and ending at the Civic Center Station which will be located just east of the intersection of Halekauwila Street and South Street in downtown Honolulu. Project design is expected to begin immediately while construction is estimated to commence in the second half of 2025. Construction of this segment is expected to be substantially completed in 2030.

DESCRIPTION:

As a Office Engineer at Tutor Perini Corp. reporting to Project Manager you will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate with subcontractorsonadvanced material acquisitionsandpre-construction deliverables

• Develop and assist with obtaining quotes and draft contracts to meet project requirements.

• Prepareupdate and distributeworkactivity schedules/updates and communicates across discipline groups and agencies to ensure proper advance notifications and coordination of start times.

• Assist with subcontractadministrationand permanentmaterialsuppliers throughmonitoringofcorrespondence submittals RFIs and performance records; an maintainingaccuratepayment records.

• Assistin preparing monthlyreportingfor progress payments schedule updates and problem/issuetrackingand resolution. Provides accurate and factual assessments of projectperformance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or similar from an accredited institution

• 3 or more years of construction experience

• Experience calculating quantities and performing takeoffs

• Project controlstechniques(i.e. cost accounting basic estimating forecasting and contracts)

• Strong organizationaland time management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communicationskills.

• Previous experience in structural analysis preferred
