Job Title: Office Assistant/Operational Auditor
Position Type: Hourly (Part-Time) Non-Exempt

Position Summary

The Office Assistant/Operational Auditor supports the General Manager and location leadership team with daily administrative and accounting operations within a fast-paced airport food and beverage environment. This role is responsible for handling clerical tasks managing office functions maintaining records supporting accounts receivable activities and assisting with financial processes including bank deposits and cash handling. The position plays a key role in keeping the location organized compliant and operating efficiently while serving as a liaison between location management and corporate support departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and complete daily bank deposits accurately and in a timely manner
  • Perform bank and deposit runs as required
  • Manage accounts receivable activities for the location including tracking outstanding payments and maintaining supporting documentation
  • Maintain and organize location documentation including operational compliance financial and employee records
  • Track and maintain office supplies and coordinate general office administration needs
  • Assist with data entry filing and recordkeeping (digital and physical)
  • Support payroll-related documentation and timekeeping follow-up as needed
  • Track and maintain inventory logs invoices vendor paperwork and financial records
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and general administrative HR support
  • Communicate with corporate departments (HR Payroll Finance and Operations) as needed
  • Support the General Manager by conducting most if not all administrative duties for the location
  • Ensure all documentation is audit-ready and compliant with company standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee financial and operational information
  • Assist with operational audits documentation reviews and compliance verification as assigned
  • Maintain compliance with airport authority TSA and company security requirements
  • Perform other light operational duties as assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative clerical bookkeeping or office management experience preferred (hospitality restaurant retail or airport environment a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic accounting bookkeeping or financial administration experience preferred
  • Comfortable handling cash processes bank deposits and financial documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word
  • Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record required
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check due to cash handling deposit responsibilities and airport security requirements
  • Must be able to successfully complete and maintain all airport security badging background screening training and Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements necessary to obtain and retain access to secured airport areas throughout employment.
