CHS Southwest Grain has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Office Assistant at our Dickinson ND this role youll play an important part in supporting daily office and operational activities for our petroleum business with some agronomy support as needed. Were looking for someone who is organized customer-focused and comfortable managing a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Answer and transfer incoming phone calls assist customers and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Receive sort and distribute incoming mail and assist with general office communication.
Process invoices purchase orders and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Enter and maintain accurate information in Energy Force Agris Coupa Neevo and other business systems.
Assist with inventory management for petroleum propane fertilizer bulk oil refined fuels and lubricants.
Track and help maintain propane and fuel tank inventory records.
Maintain and update various operational spreadsheets and reports.
Support drivers with refined fuels lubricants and propane needs including paperwork questions and daily coordination.
Assist with daily petroleum operations and provide some agronomy support as needed.
Help order and maintain office supplies as needed.
Provide clear communication with customers drivers coworkers and location personnel.
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to support daily operational needs and timelines.
Work with sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality accuracy and integrity.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
1 years of experience in Office and Facilities Services
1 years of experience in Administrative Support
High School diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Basic math skills
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business needs
Ability to travel occasionally
Farming background or agriculture/fertilizer experience preferred
Familiarity with accounting software preferred
