Description of Work

The NC Office of EMS Credential Manager oversees all credentialing operations to ensure compliance with regulatory standards state requirements and organizational policies. This role manages certification renewals reinstatements examination registration legal recognition processes and military equivalency reviews.

The position provides direct supervision and operational oversight of credentialing staff who serve as the primary point of contact for credential applicants certified personnel and regulatory stakeholders. The Credential Manager ensures accurate processing timely communication consistent application of credentialing standards and continuous improvement of credentialing workflows.

An ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare licensure EMS credentialing or professional certification environments.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences

Salary Range: $52592 - $92036

Recruitment Range: $52592 - $86000

This position is funded in part through federal funds.

This position will close at 11:59 p.m. the night before the end date.

The Division of Health Service Regulationoversees medical mental health and adult care facilities emergency medical services and local jails. We check to see that people receiving care in these facilities are safe and receive appropriate care. We make certain that medical buildings are built only when there is a need for them.
