Salary - $50k to $65k depending on experience

We are seeking Ocean Import or Export Coordinators for various clients across Los Angeles. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end international freight operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of international import operations from booking through final delivery ensuring accuracy compliance and on-time execution.
- Handle ocean import or export operations including documentation preparation coordination with overseas agents and shipment execution.
- Prepare and manage rate quotes for customers and international partners for ocean freight.
- Coordinate and oversee consolidated cargo shipments.
- Communicate regularly with overseas agents carriers trucking companies and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations shipping laws and internal procedures.
- Proactively resolve shipment issues to minimize delays or service disruptions.
- Support customer relationships through clear communication responsiveness and issue resolution.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a freight forwarding company handling ocean import or export operations from start to finish (required).
- Hands-on experience using CargoWise is advantageous
