About the Role
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week quick-start contract opportunity in Monterey California. This role supports therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting and requires strong patient care skills SNF experience and knowledge of Rehab Optima / NetHealth documentation system.
Responsibilities
Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
Assist patients with ADLs functional mobility safety strength and independence goals
Support individualized therapy plans based on patient needs and progress
Document therapy services accurately using Rehab Optima / NetHealth
Collaborate with the therapy team and care staff to support quality patient outcomes
Requirements
Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License Required
Minimum 1 year of COTA experience required
Skilled Nursing Facility experience required
Rehab Optima / NetHealth experience required
Must be available for day shift and holiday coverage as needed
