Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Premier Therapy is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Bellefonte PA to help residents build skills for safer more independent daily this onsite role youll partner with the supervising OT to deliver evidence-informed care and support measurable progress.

Key responsibilities include providing occupational therapy interventions assisting with evaluations and goal tracking creating and carrying out individualized treatment plans communicating updates with the care team and families and completing timely documentation in rehabilitation software.

Required qualifications/skills:
- Active Pennsylvania COTA license
- Working knowledge of OT assessments and interventions
- Experience with geriatric and/or long-term care populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement individualized therapy plans
- Proficiency with rehab documentation platforms

Youll start by reviewing the days schedule and notes then head to the floor to connect with residents where they areoften coordinating timing with nursing and other disciplines. Between sessions youll document efficiently check in with your supervising OT and adjust the flow of the day as needs change. Youll end your shift with chart completion quick handoffs to teammates and a clear plan for tomorrow.
