PediaPlex is a collaborative multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center providing ABA therapy speech therapy occupational therapy and feeding support to children and families across the DFW area. We are committed to clinical excellence client-centered care and fostering a positive culture that empowers our teams to thrive.


We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR) who is passionate about supporting childrens development and building functional independence. The OT is responsible for evaluating planning and delivering individualized evidence-based services to pediatric clients in clinic and community-based settings. This role requires strong clinical judgment independent treatment planning and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams in a supportive mission-driven environment!


Duties:

  • Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observation
  • Develop implement and adjust individualized plans of care based on clinical judgment and progress
  • Provide direct OT services in clinic and/or community-based settings
  • Address fine motor gross motor sensory processing self-care emotional regulation play and daily living skills
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to promote independence and functional participation
  • Adapt therapeutic activities based on child response progress and environment
  • Complete accurate timely documentation in compliance with clinic standards and timelines
  • Maintain compliant electronic records including evaluations progress reports and discharges
  • Collaborate with families and a multidisciplinary team to support skill carryover and treatment goals
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling clinic locations and service delivery needs including travel as required

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current Texas Occupational Therapy License in good standing.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong clinical reasoning communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel between clinic locations.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to sit stand walk bend kneel crawl and transition positions frequently during therapy sessions.
  • Adequate vision and hearing to observe behavior assess performance and support therapy delivery.
  • Ability to use computers tablets and therapy materials effectively for documentation and treatment.
