Job Summary
- Evaluates patients and develops individualized treatment plans to enhance functional independence across acute hospital acute rehabilitation inpatient medicalsurgical and outpatient environments.
- This role delivers therapeutic interventions that support the performance of daily living activities promotes safety and maximizes patient participation in meaningful routines.
- The OT collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary team educates patients and caregivers on adaptive strategies and equipment use and ensures timely accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
- The therapist maintains a safe treatment environment demonstrates strong communication and clinical reasoning skills and performs other duties as assigned to support highquality patientcentered care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapy license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Outpatient Rehabilitation or Acute Care Experience preferred
