Opportunity:

Due to growth Alaska Hand Rehabilitation is now hiring an Occupational Therapist inAnchorage AK. Full-time availability is preferred 40 hours per week are available. Part-time candidates with 24 hours across three weekdays (ideally Monday Wednesday and Friday) will also be considered.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Occupational Therapist will work in an outpatient orthopedic clinic treating patients of all ages. The caseload focuses on complex upper extremity and hand therapy cases requiring high level clinical reasoning with specialization in shoulder arm and hand conditions.

Full-time Occupational Therapists should expect to see approximately 39 to 40 patients per week. All treatment sessions are one-on-one and 45 minutes in length.

All therapists have daily protected documentation time.

Compensation and Benefits:

The annual compensation for this full-time position is in the range of $104000-$124800 based on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:

Occupational Therapists work Monday through Friday. The clinic is open from 7am to 5pm on Monday Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the clinic hours are 8am to 6pm. No weekends. No late nights. No major holidays.

Job Requirements:

  • Eligible for AK state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Some experience is required; 3 years of Hand Therapy experience preferred

  • CHT certification is preferred.

  • Full-time is preferred 40 hours per week are available.

  • Part-time candidates with 24 hours across three weekdays (ideally Monday Wednesday and Friday) will also be considered.

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
