Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Devils Lake ND

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule:
5x8 Shifts
40 Hours per Week

Setting: Outpatient Therapy

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for an outpatient therapy assignment. Candidates must have inpatient and/or outpatient therapy experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide therapy services based on patient diagnosis symptoms and physician orders
Educate patients and families on treatment plans assistive devices and home exercise programs
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for care planning and discharge coordination
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Document evaluations treatments and patient progress accurately within EPIC EMR
Identify changes in patient conditions and communicate appropriately with healthcare teams
Coordinate therapy schedules and ensure efficient patient care delivery
Provide clinical supervision and support to Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) as required
Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Occupational Therapy experience required
Inpatient and/or outpatient therapy experience required
Active North Dakota Occupational Therapist license required upon acceptance
NBCOT OTR/L certification required
Current AHA BLS certification required
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record required
Strong communication documentation and patient care skills required
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
