Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with a school district in the Tumwater area for the school year. This full-time onsite position offers a structured schedule a collaborative team environment and the opportunity to help students build essential life and academic skills.

About the Role

As a school-based OT you will help students develop the functional skills needed to succeed in the classroom and daily activities. Youll work with a diverse caseload supporting fine motor development sensory processing and independence with school-related tasks.

Schedule & Setting

• MondayFriday school hours
• Onsite placement within the Tumwater School District
• No evenings or weekends
• School holidays and breaks off

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Washington State OT license (or ability to obtain)
• NBCOT certification preferred
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Support students with fine motor sensory and daily living skills
• Collaborate with teachers staff and families
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with Washington State and district requirements
