Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join Harborview Post Acute in Memphis. This permanent position focuses on working with post-acute patients recovering from surgery illness injury and medically complex conditions. You will help patients regain independence in daily living activities improve functional abilities and enhance overall quality of life. Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate and treat patients with physical cognitive and functional limitations in a post-acute setting
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) fine motor skills and functional mobility techniques
Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to improve independence and safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care and discharge planning
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards




Requirements
Active state license as an Occupational Therapist in Tennessee
Current BLS/CPR certification
Minimum of 1 year of recent OT experience preferred ideally in post-acute SNF or rehabilitation settings
Strong clinical reasoning and patient care skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
