Work location:Texas Health Southwest 6100 Harris Parkway Fort Worth TX 76132 and Texas Health Clearfork 5400 Clearfork Main St Ft. Worth TX 76109
- Work hours:PRN: On an as needed basis Day hours/flexible schedule withOccasional weekend day or holiday (when the holiday falls on a Monday or Friday).

Heres What You Need
Bachelors Degree Completion of an Occupational Therapy program Required.
No Experience necessary; Prefer 1 year acute care Occupational Therapy experience.
Acute Care Adult OT experience is preferred.
OT - Occupational Therapist Texas Occupational Therapy License Upon Hire Required And
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterlyRequired.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Problem- solving ability; Ability to teach others.
Time management skills; Good interpersonal and customer service skills Basic leadership skills.
What You Will Do
Performs age-appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care.
Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment.
Educates patient and family through instruction demonstration and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan safety issues home
programs/self-management and assistive equipment.
Documents all aspects of assessment plan of care and re-certifications in accordance with departmental TJC Medicare and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
Works in partnership with peers other disciplines and departmental personnel
Focus on Daily Living Skills Mobility and Cognition of patients.
