As an Occupational Therapist you will play a key role in helping patients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Developing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Providing skilled occupational therapy services to improve function and independence
- Addressing activities of daily living (ADLs) mobility safety awareness and adaptive equipment needs
- Collaborating with physicians interdisciplinary team members residents and family members
- Maintaining accurate documentation billing and discharge planning
- Educating patients caregivers and staff to support positive outcomes
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care
