Occupational Therapist (OT) Acute Care

Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Acute Care team. This role will be a Full Time Day Shift Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holiday (1 weekend shift per month and 1 holiday per year)

Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Responsibilities:

• Adheres to department policies regarding the timeframe form and content of written evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Communicates effectively with patients family medical staff care team members students supervisors and outside contacts while completing all administrative tasks and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities equipment and protocols while performing re-evaluations according to department guidelines and adjusting the treatment plan as needed.
• Selects evaluation and treatment methods appropriate to patients diagnosis age group and physical/emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Licensure: Occupational Therapist
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualification:

• Occupational Therapist (OT) experience in the acute care setting
