BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Essex County Visits team based in Livingston NJ. This part-time or full-time opportunity offers the flexibility to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle while providing one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients throughout Essex County.
As a Home Health Occupational Therapist youll help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life by delivering individualized therapy in the comfort of their homes. Youll collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate high-quality care.

- Provide skilled occupational therapy services through home visits within designated territories.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients functional abilities including strength endurance coordination cognition communication and activities of daily living (ADLs and IADLs).
- Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence safety and functional outcomes.
- Assess home environments for safety concerns and recommend modifications or adaptive equipment to support independent living.
- Identify and recommend assistive devices and environmental adaptations to improve patient function and quality of life.
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients caregivers and family members on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote safety and independence.
- Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
- Accurately document evaluations interventions and patient progress using electronic medical records and tablet technology.
- Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Minimum of one year of recent Occupational Therapy experience.
- Prior home health experience preferred but not required.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Strong assessment communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
- Electronic medical record (EMR) experience preferred.
