Occupational Therapist

Location: Lakeport CA 95453

Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Compensation: Up to $70 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanent opportunity in Lakeport CA. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve independence with daily activities functional mobility safety upper-extremity function and overall quality of life while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Evaluate and/or treat patients to improve ADLs functional independence safety strength coordination and quality of life.

Develop or carry out individualized occupational therapy plans of care within licensures scope.

Recommend or implement adaptive strategies and therapeutic activities as appropriate.

Monitor progress and communicate changes to the care team.

Educate patients families and caregivers on treatment strategies and safety.

Complete timely documentation and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant program as applicable.

Active CA OT or COTA license in good standing as applicable.

Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.

Strong clinical communication documentation and teamwork skills.

Experience in the applicable setting preferred.
