Occupational Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Hudson County Visits team. This position offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time employment while providing one-on-one care to adult and geriatric clients in the comfort of their homes throughout Hudson County.

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist you will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to helping clients maintain independence safety and quality of life while receiving care where they are most comfortableat home.

• Perform home visits within designated geographic territories.
• Complete comprehensive evaluations of patients functional abilities including ADLs IADLs mobility cognition communication and safety.
• Develop individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence and functional outcomes.
• Assess home environments and recommend adaptive equipment and modifications.
• Collaborate with nursing and other disciplines to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Educate patients caregivers and family members on therapeutic interventions and strategies to improve safety and independence.
• Accurately document patient assessments interventions and outcomes using electronic medical records.

• Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Prior home health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong clinical organizational communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with EMR documentation preferred.

Base Pay depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation:

$75.00 - $80.00 per point ($117000-$124800 annual earning potential)
