Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Grants NM
Type: Contract 12 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Day Shift Monday Friday

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Occupational Therapist for an exciting Travel or Local job in Grants NM.

Responsibilities
Evaluate patients physical emotional and cognitive abilities through observation and standardized assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functional skills
Recommend adaptive equipment and educate patients on proper use
Educate patients families and caregivers on strategies for daily living and independence
Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress reports
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other therapists to coordinate patient care
Maintain departmental policies procedures and quality assurance standards
Participate in professional development activities educational programs and workshops
Perform additional job-related duties as assigned

Requirements
Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an ACOTE-accredited program required
Completion of Level I & Level II supervised fieldwork required
NBCOT certification required
Active New Mexico Occupational Therapist License required
Current BLS/CPR Certification required
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills required
Knowledge of anatomy psychology and therapeutic techniques required
Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient
