Compliance Notes

Registry personnel must bring a state or federal issued identification to the facility

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and develop individualised occupational therapy treatment plans
Provide direct OT interventions to improve functional independence in activities of daily living instrumental ADLs and work-related tasks
Supervise COTA staff and oversee implementation of treatment plans as assigned
Document evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and communicate patient status to physicians and care staff
Participate in discharge planning and recommend adaptive equipment home modifications and community resources

Requirements

Must-Have

Active state OT licence - Virginia current and in good standing
CPR/BLS certification - current
Minimum 1 year occupational therapy experience in a post-acute or rehabilitation setting
Occupational Therapist (OT) licence required for submission
