As an Occupational Therapist at MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy you will:
- Assess Client Needs: Conduct comprehensive screenings and diagnostic evaluations to determine each clients current level of function and rehabilitation potential.
- Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Design personalized therapy programs with measurable goals adjusting interventions as needed based on client progress.
- Deliver Hands-On Therapy: Provide direct treatment using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance physical function and mobility.
- Educate and Empower Clients & Families: Train clients caregivers and support staff on effective home exercise programs to promote long-term success.
- Ensure Proper Equipment & Adaptations: Evaluate and facilitate the acquisition of necessary adaptive equipment and supplies to support client treatment plans.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Complete detailed clinical records and required documentation to support high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate for Holistic Care: Coordinate with physicians educators and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to rehabilitation.
- Drive Positive Outcomes: Monitor client progress modify interventions as needed and contribute to overall well-being through expert therapeutic care.
- State of Michigan Occupational Therapy License
- Current registration and licensure with NBCOT
- Active & Engaged Work Kneeling bending and playing at ground level.
- Hands-On Support Lifting up to 50 lbs may be required.
- Quick Reflexes Ability to respond to behaviors such as elopement (running away) or aggressive actions.
- Loud or Noisy Environments Working with active children in dynamic settings.
- Potential Exposure to Bodily Fluids Assisting with hygiene or accidental incidents.

Monday - Friday 2pm-6pm (can be flexible!)
- After applying a member of our recruiting team will call to review the pay range and opportunities for additional compensation through productivity bonuses. Compensation varies based on each clinicians unique skills and experience.
