This is a great opportunity to work and live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! ReBound Physical Occupational & Hand Therapies is a growing private practice and is in need of a hand therapist. We are located in both Bellingham & Lynden WA drawing patients from a large area. Working with some of the best surgeons in Washington we have a hands-on progressive approach to treatment and need a like-minded clinician to join our staff. Our hand therapy department is looking for an experienced PT/OT (CHT) with strong manual therapy and evaluation skills. Applicant must be able to work independently. Patient population consists of almost entirely upper extremity care including post-operative fractures tendon repair repetitive stress multi-trauma occasional wound care and serial casting to the adult and possible pediatric population. Strong splinting skills and experience in postoperative and post-trauma shoulder elbow and hand therapy is preferred. We work closely with many primary care physicians and specialists in our region as well as from regional medical centers. The therapist will evaluate and treat patients referred by physicians developing appropriate programs to restore function and maximize independence while treating clients with dignity sensitivity and encouragement. Applicant is to be a licensed Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist or eligible to be licensed in Washington State. New grads are welcome to apply but we prefer at least 1-2 years of hand experience.
