Your Role:
- Assessing diagnosing screening and treating a variety of developmental disorders
- Our population consists of Autism (ASD) ADHD language-based learning disorders AAC users motor speech disorders articulation/phonological disorders and developmental delays
- Timely completion of documentation including daily SOAP notes progress notes initial and re-evaluations
- Implement evidence based neurodiversity affirming treatment techniques including sensory-based strategies and a strengths-based approach to improve independence in childhood occupations
- Collaborate with speech therapists physical therapists BCBAs psychologists and other team members to provide a whole child approach
- Modify the learning environment to suit patients skill progressions
- Effectively provide parent and family education
- Engage in cultural responsiveness when treatment planning for culturally diverse population
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Washington State Occupational Therapy License
- 1-3 years experience preferred but open to new graduates
