Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Full-Time
Neuro Rehab Outpatient Clinic MondayFriday No Evenings Weekends or Holidays
Join a collaborative neuro rehab team where youll provide 1:1 60-minute treatment sessions that help adults recovering from neurological injuries regain independence and improve their quality of life.
In This Role Youll:
- Deliver personalized hands-on therapy under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises ADLs functional activities and adaptive equipment training
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve meaningful patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers while maintaining accurate documentation
- Utilize innovative technology and equipment in a supportive outpatient setting

Responsibilities
- Assist patients in exercise ADLs functional activities and the application/use of assistive devices in accordance with the treatment plan established by the Occupational Therapist
- Assist Occupational Therapist in the collection of outcome measures and completion of complex treatment procedures
- Educate patients families and other health workers on selected procedures and functional activities as directed by the Occupational Therapist
- Participate in ongoing program evaluation and development
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all care provided
- Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to the AOTA Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Degree from a certified occupational therapy assistant training program
- Current Occupational Therapist Assistant certification and license to practice in state of application
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred related to treatment of complex neurological injuries
- Knowledge of complex neurologic injury and orthopedic rehabilitation techniques
- Current CPR certification
