Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Occupational Medicine Clinic Manager to lead the daily operations of our Grand Valley Occupational Medicine clinic in Grand Junction Colorado.
This position is responsible for overseeing clinical and administrative operations managing employees ensuring regulatory and compliance requirements are met and delivering high-quality occupational health and employee health services to patients employers and community partners.
The ideal candidate will have healthcare management experience and a strong understanding of occupational medicine workers compensation DOT physicals OSHA requirements drug and alcohol testing pre-employment physicals return-to-work evaluations case management and employer health services.

- Lead the day-to-day operations of the occupational medicine clinic ensuring efficient high-quality patient-centered care.
- Supervise and support clinical and non-clinical staff including physicians nurses medical assistants and administrative team members.
- Foster a culture of teamwork accountability professionalism service excellence and continuous improvement.
- Oversee patient scheduling registration patient flow clinic capacity and daily operations to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows productivity patient experience and overall clinic performance.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between the clinic and Community Hospital senior leadership.
- Oversee occupational health services for local and regional employers.
- Support programs related to workers compensation employee health pre-employment physicals occupational health screenings DOT medical examinations return-to-work evaluations work-related injuries and workplace health services.
- Maintain strong relationships with employers insurers workers compensation partners and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure contractual requirements employer service agreements and pricing structures are appropriately managed.
- Support business development and growth opportunities for occupational medicine and employer health services.
Ensure clinic operations comply with applicable federal state and industry requirements including:
- OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Administration
- HIPAA Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
- CLIA Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments
- ODAPC Office of Drug and Alcohol Policy and Compliance
- DOT Department of Transportation
- CDC Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
- CMS Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
- NHSN National Healthcare Safety Network
- Workers compensation requirements
- Applicable occupational medicine and healthcare regulations
- Accreditation and quality standards
Develop implement and maintain clinic policies procedures protocols and workflows to support regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
Additional Information:
- Relocation: Must relocate to Grand Junction CO 81505 before starting work.
