Were currently looking for an Occasional Babysitter in Ossining NY 10562
A family in Ossining is seeking an occasional babysitter for their two children ages 1 and 3 years with an immediate start. Backup care is needed intermittently when the children are home sick from daycare on weekdays from 9:00 AM5:00 PM. Most illnesses will be minor (low-grade fever colds or coughs) though candidates should be comfortable caring for occasional stomach bugs. There are no guaranteed hours and candidates do not need to be available for all of the familys needs. Two friendly cats are in the home (no pet care required). Mom works from home and is looking for someone to keep the children engaged while she works.

- Typical needs: MondayFriday 9:00 AM5:00 PM
- Compensation: $30$35 per hour
Responsibilities
- Diaper changes for the 1-year-old
- Support nap routines
- Provide attentive sick care while mom works
Requirements
- 1 year of paid professional infant care experience
- 1 year of paid professional toddler care experience
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide two professional childcare references
- Able to pass background and social media screenings
- Must live within 45 minutes of Ossining
Compensation
This position pays $30-$35 per hour and the family is looking for intermittent care.
