Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Registered Nurse (RN) you will be a pivotal healthcare professional delivering compassionate high-quality care that truly impacts our patients well-being and recovery.

  • Demonstrates ability to assess/interpret age-specific data.
  • Encourages involvement of patient/family/significant other in decision making related to plan of care: Identifies patient/caregiver teaching needs patient safety issues and patient comfort / pain issues
  • Performs the priority procedures for the assigned patients or areas safely within the scope of practice and policy and in a manner perceived as satisfying by the patient and family.
  • Performs all procedures for the assigned patients using the fewest possible resources while achieving the intended results
  • Acts as a resource for all procedures for the assigned patients or areas.
  • Identifies actual and potentially unsafe care practices initiates actions as appropriate to prevent or correct and reports in a timely manner.
Job Requirements

  • 1 year of Obstetrics experience as an RN
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Preferred

  • 1-2 years of Medical/Surgical Nursing
