Job Summary
Bon Secours Southside Medical Center is looking for locum OB/GYN coverage for urgent coverage.
Job Details --subject to change based on varying needs:
Practice Setting: OBGYN Hospital/Call potential for clinic coverage. Must be willing/able to cover both to be considered for this need.
If takingclinic nightcallwould not beafter clinic days.
Reason for coverage: one provider will be out for a few weeks for personal time
Call ratio: 1 to 4
Total number of beds: 9 in L&D and 20 postpartum
Numberof Physicians in practice:4
Support Staff: OBHG hospitalist surgical assistants 3 to 4 nurses each shift
Average number of nursery admissions per day: 2 to 3 per day
Average call back per 24hrshift: less than 1 you will receive calls from answering service
Documentation System/EMR:EPIC
Are any specific procedures: C-section vaginal deliveries suction D&C ectopic pregnancies ovarian torsion abnormal bleeding. MFM will handle most high-risk patients.
