This role evaluates patients develops individualized treatment plans manages therapies provides education and counseling and collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. The provider stays current with evidence-based practices and emerging research in menopause and womens ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations including health histories symptom assessments and relevant physical and manage conditions and symptoms associated with perimenopause menopause and individualized treatment plans based on patient needs goals medical history and evidence-based and manage menopausal hormone therapy and non-hormonal treatment options as and address sexual health concerns including vaginal and vulvovaginal review and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic patients on treatment options and lifestyle strategies including nutrition exercise sleep and stress accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).Collaborate with physicians specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and make appropriate in quality improvement initiatives professional development and continuing education related to menopause and womens other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and & ExperienceMasters degree or higher in Nursing Physician Assistant Studies or related field Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Tennessee board certification appropriate to the providers discipline DEA registration in womens health gynecology primary care or endocrinology managing menopausal hormone therapy American Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (NCMP) credential preferred or willingness to obtain experience & CompetenciesStrong clinical judgment and evidence-based decision-making communication listening and patient education of menopause womens health and related treatment with electronic medical records (EMR) and standard computer organized and patient-centered approach to to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced ConditionsWork is primarily performed in a clinical office setting and involves frequent telephone and in-person communication with patients and role involves continuous engagement and interaction with others and may involve occasional or frequent work environment reflects typical conditions found in a medical practice including exposure to standard clinical equipment patient interactions and administrative is potential exposure to common medical practice conditions including communicable diseases bodily fluids and chemical demands include walking bending reaching lifting up to 20 pounds stooping assisting patients and prolonged periods of position may also involve occasional stress due to multiple responsibilities and competing This job description outlines the general nature and responsibilities of the role and is not an exhaustive list of duties or requirements.
