Job Summary
ESSENTIAL
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Maintain proper rotation of products in chillers.
Must have a very flexible schedule including weekends holidays and AM & PM shifts.
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner.
Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Fairmont Standards as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.
Comply at all times with Fairmont standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Set up all tables in the dining room for appropriate shift.
Prepare iced tea coffee espresso juice hot chocolate.
Stock necessary equipment including linen china glasses cutlery and supplies to maintain proper meal period table settings.
Maintain proper settings on tables during course of shift.
Clear tables quickly and efficiently upon completion of courses.
Complete cleaning duties utilizing corporate SOP checklist. (dusting sweeping wiping polishing etc.) MARGINAL
Prepare lemon by cutting in wedges.
Serve guests in waiters absence.
Maintain beverage levels in glasses on tables. (coffee tea water juice)
Other duties as required.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION
High school diploma or related experience preferred.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
Coffee and espresso machines
Juice machine
Cleaning chemicals broom hot plates.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Long hours sometimes may be required.
Heavy work Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds of force constantly to lift carry push pull or otherwise move objects.
Must be able to stand and walk throughout the entire shift.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.
Must be able to maintain a level or organization and cleanliness.
Additional Information :
The hourly pay rate is USD $24.25
