Location: Utica New York
Pay Rate: $62 to $64/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Two 10-Hour Day Shifts Per Week
Guaranteed Hours: 20 Hours/Week

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Operating Room for a 13-week contract in Utica New York. This role supports adult cardiovascular surgical patients in a CTOR setting and requires strong perioperative nursing skills flexibility with floating and availability for scheduled on-call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for adult Cardiovascular OR patients.

• Support surgical cases involving CAD aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation.

• Maintain safe perioperative care with 1:1 patient ratios.

• Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia and OR team members.

• Use Epic and Omnicell for documentation and medication access.

• Float as required when census is low.

• Participate in scheduled on-call coverage.

Requirements

• Active New York Registered Nurse license required.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate degree required.

• Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular OR experience required.

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Adult patient care experience required.

• Epic and Omnicell experience preferred.

• Floating required if census is low.

• Travel candidates must follow the 75-mile radius rule.

• Locals accepted; local rate applies within 75 miles.

• On-call required up to 7 days per 4-week schedule including one full weekend.
