Location: Watertown New York
Pay Rate: $73/hr to $76/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 8-hour days 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Experience: Interventional Radiology experience required

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Specialist Assistant for a 13-week travel contract in Watertown New York. This role supports Interventional Radiology services under physician supervision and requires strong procedural experience patient care skills and knowledge of fluoroscopic ultrasound-guided and CT-guided procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Perform patient assessments and support patient care.
• Prepare procedure rooms equipment and supplies.
• Assist with fluoroscopic ultrasound-guided and CT-guided procedures.
• Support biopsies drain placements joint injections paracentesis and thoracentesis.
• Educate patients and provide pre- and post-procedure instructions.
• Document procedures and patient outcomes accurately.
• Follow radiation safety infection control and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

• Interventional Radiology experience required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Bachelors degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Radiologist Assistant or Physician Assistant certification preferred.
• CT Ultrasound Interventional Radiology or RRA certification highly preferred.
• Experience with fluoroscopy ultrasound-guided and CT-guided procedures required.
• Must be able to work 8-hour day shifts.
• Travel candidates only.
• 100-mile radius rule applies.
• No on-call requirement.
