Compensation is set by agreed to language in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between CCSNW & SEIU 1199NW and determined based on experience.

Position Description:
The Therapistisin a professional position providingintensive community-basedtherapeutic services to childrenyouthand families with seriousmental health needs.The TherapistwillutilizetheWraparound processtoincrease safetystabilizeplacementand supportindividuals/families in meeting their identified needsby building a team of natural and formal supports.The Therapistwillparticipateas a clinical team member learning and practicing Wraparound principles and processes.The Therapistwillparticipatein crisis management andthe on-call rotation.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Membership:

• Work cooperatively with internal and external teams.

• Actively engage in consultation and supervision.

• Model dignity and respect for others in all aspects of work.

Direct Therapeutic Service:

• Provide diagnostic assessment (as qualified).

• Provide ongoing assessment of clients strengths and needs.

• Useappropriate therapeuticmodalities to build on strengths and attend to clients needsincluding individual and family therapy.

• Participate in developingand implementingindividualizedserviceplan.

• Provide therapeutic support/psycho-educationtofamilies.

• Provide in-hometherapeutic services asindicatedin the Wraparound plan.

• Case managementasneeded.

Record Keeping:

• Complete all paperwork according to agency policyand contract requirementsto includeprogress reports service ticketsserviceplansscheduled reviews etc.

• Learn andutilizeElectronic Medical Records.

Crisis Management:

• Work withteamto provideongoing safety planning for clients and families.

• Share in on-call rotation for after-hoursresponsetoWISeprogramfamilies.

• Participate ifneededwithhospitalizationor crisis placement of clients.

Community Relations:

• Attendappropriatecommunity-basednetworking meetings as requested.

• Seek outadditional training and support as needed.

Access to and protection of PHI:

• Responsible for upholding a culture of privacy and security inhighlyconfidential work environment (HIPAA covered entity service area).

• Complies withall CCSWW policies and procedures that involve access to and safeguarding of client Protected Health Information (all forms).

Otherwork-relatedduties as assigned.

MINIMUM:

• Masters Degree in Counseling Social WorkPsychologyor related field.

• Willing/able to obtainaCounselorAgency AffiliatedRegistrationwithWA Department of Health.

• Experience working with children and families in a clinical setting.

• Ability to work in home and community settings.

• Strengths-based orientation.

• Must have reliable transportation valid driverslicenseand current automobile insurance.

• Acceptable driving record (Driving Abstract-Full driving record required).

• Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.

PREFERRED:

• Current WA State DOH licensure or Associate Licensure: Social Worker Mental Health Counselor or Marriage & Family Counselor (WAC 246-809).

• 1-yearrelevant experience working with children and families in a clinical/mental health setting.

• Qualified Mental Health Professional.

• Childrens Mental Health Specialist.

• Bilingual Spanish Speaking.

• Training and/or experience in Family Therapy.
• Training or experience in the Wraparound process.
