Performs routine work responsible for operating the food service van with loading and unloading supplies stocking and assisting with inspection of equipment. Performs all other related work as required.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma; three to five years of experience driving in comparable weather conditions; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess a valid Class B Drivers License with a good driving record.

Knowledge:Thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of a food service van. Knowledge of the towns geography. Working knowledge of occupational hazards and of safety precautions to be exercised to ensure safe operation of the vehicle. Knowledge of the operation of kitchen equipment.

Ability:Ability to analyze the proper performance of a motor vehicle by following a preventative maintenance service schedule. Ability to plan and organize work and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Skills:Must have a good driving record and skills in driving a food service van.
