Job Summary
Nutrition & Labeling Consultant
We are seeking a Nutrition & Labeling Consultant to join our client. This person will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy consistency and regulatory compliance of menu and product data. This role supports nutritional analysis recipe development and menu validation partnering with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards across all offerings.
This will be onsite 2-3 days per week here in Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities
Nutritional Analysis & Testing
Conduct nutritional analysis for existing menu items to ensure accuracy and compliance
Perform yield and portion testing for both current and new menu items
Support onsite product testing for new menu development initiatives
Coordinate third-party laboratory testing as needed
Menu Review & Validation
Review menu items for nutritional accuracy and alignment with current specifications
Update calorie counts allergen information and product details as required
Ensure consistency between menu data and product specifications across all platforms
Perform routine audits to validate compliance with regulatory standards
Recipe Development & Data Management
Build and maintain recipes within internal systems to generate accurate nutritional information
Review and revise recipes to align with regulatory requirements and quality standards
Create new recipes in accordance with approved guidelines
Validate recipe weights ingredient specifications and portion standards for accuracy
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather product and specification data
Support menu launches by ensuring all nutrition-related information is accurate and complete
Collaborate with project stakeholders to implement updates and maintain alignment across systems
Data Integrity & Compliance
Maintain accuracy and integrity of nutrition data across systems and platforms
Manage system access and data controls related to recipe and menu management tools
Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies
Qualifications
BS Degree in a food science nutrition or similar discipline.
5 years of experience in nutrition food science dietetics or a related field
Familiarity with nutritional analysis tools or recipe management systems
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
Knowledge of food labeling nutrition regulations and allergen standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51600.00 - $110100.00.
