Mercy Hospitals 6C Medical Neurology Unit offers a meaningful opportunity for nurses to increase their skills with patients requiring frequent neurological assessments close monitoring for changes in mental status and management of complex conditions such as stroke seizures traumatic brain injury multiple sclerosis and neuromuscular disorders. Many patients need assistance with mobility fall prevention measures medication management swallowing precautions and multidisciplinary care involving therapy services.

• Recent nursing school graduate awaiting RN licensure

• Eligible to participate in Mercys Graduate Nurse program

• Current LPN licensure in the state of practice
