Typical Duties:

• Serves only and all programs under the Arizona Western Colleges Nursing Department.
• Assist students with skill development and the use of educational software.
• Support and participate in strategic planning initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in nursing and at least 3 years of recent experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
• Masters degree in nursing (MSN) preferred but not required
• Current active unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Arizona or current active unencumbered compact/multistate RN license with privilege to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona required before employment. Must remain in good standing with the Arizona State Board of Nursing throughout employment.
• Experience performing and reinforcing nursing skills according to current clinical standards textbook references skills checklists and evidence-based guidelines.
• Experience in nursing education skills lab simulation remediation or competency-based evaluation preferred but not required.
• Experience with high-fidelity simulation virtual reality electronic medical records or other healthcare learning technologies preferred but not required
  

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

• Arizona Drivers License or Equivalent

Salary:

$50544-$65707 commensurate with education and experience. Salary range reflects potential additional compensation and market comparison at 30% above the base salary.
