Nursing Educator (Registered Nurse)

Location:Boone North Carolina Full-Time Monday - Friday

As an RN (Registered Nurse) Educator at UNC Health Appalachian youll play a key role in shaping the clinical workforce by supporting onboarding education and ongoing professional development for nurses and clinical staff. Youll collaborate closely with nursing leadership and quality teams to promote clinical excellence regulatory compliance and a culture of continuous learningall while living and working in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

• Compensation:Starting at$36.38/hour based on education experience and internal equity

  • Eligible for a $5000 relocation/sign-on bonus

• Schedule:Full-time exempt position

• Coordinate and support onboarding and orientation programs for RNs LPNs CNAs and other clinical staff

• Develop deliver and evaluate educational programs and clinical training content

• Partner with nursing leadership and quality teams to identify learning needs and support quality improvement initiatives

• Promote evidence-based practice regulatory compliance and clinical excellence

• Serve as a clinical resource mentor and role model to nursing and clinical staff

• Support a healthy inclusive and safe work environment rooted in respect compassion and continuous improvement

• Collaborate across departments to improve patient outcomes staff engagement and workflow efficiency

• Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN required); Masters degree in Nursing Education preferred

• CurrentRegistered Nurse (RN)license in the State of North Carolina

• Basic Life Support (BLS)from the American Heart Association required at hire

• BLS Instructorcertification required within one (1) year of hire

• Minimum ofthree (3) yearsof nursing experience

• Strong clinical expertise communication and teaching skills

• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and disciplines

• Commitment to patient safety staff development and organizational values

• Prolonged periods of standing walking and sitting

• Speaking reading and writing for extended periods

• Occasional exposure to bloodborne pathogens and clinical environments

• May be subject to irregular hours meetings or educational sessions as needed
