Baptist Health Floyd Progressive Care Unit
Part-time (24 Hours Weekly) Nights (7pm-7am)

Job Duties:
We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks.
About the Unit:
The Progressive Care Unit also known as PCU is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit between the Inpatient Units and the Critical Care units. While the unit specializes in cardiovascular care nurses will encounter a variety of diagnoses such as CHF dysrhythmias DKA respiratory issues sepsis etc. While working closely with an interdisciplinary team nurses provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population. PCU is a great place for nurses to cultivate and expand their assessment skills while managing several drips and other specialized procedures.
Qualifications:
BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred not required.
