Nursing Assistant Ambulatory, Endocrinology

Essential Functions

• Prepares patients for examination and treatment.

• Escorts patients/guardians to exam rooms.

• Cleans exam rooms between patient visits to ensure preparedness for incoming patients.

• Maintains supply inventory in each exam room. Requisitions the purchase of replacement stock as requested.

• Obtains patients temperature height weight and vitals as requested.

• Performs selected specimen collection and laboratory analysis as indicated.

• Utilizes autoclave to sterilize medical instruments.

• Assembles admission information packets for distribution to patients.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School diploma.

• Experience - One (1) year experience preferred
