Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will be a pivotal healthcare professional delivering compassionate high-quality care that truly impacts our patients well-being and recovery.

  • Utilizes the nursing process for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care
  • Multi-tasks organizes and prioritizes patient care utilizing an efficient concise and goal outcome process
  • Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs
  • Anticipates preparation of cases and needs to enhance the efficiency of the team effort i.e. punctual case start times accurate and timely preparation of cases (instruments supplies and equipment) and eliminates predictable case delays
  • Performs documentation on unit and patient records that is timely accurate and concise
  • Initiates and investigates needed repairs missing equipment supplies and other pertinent areas and follows through to ensure resolution
Job Requirements

Required:

  • Associates Other Nursing and One year OR and/or CSOR experience within the last two years in acute care hospital upon hire or
  • 2 years recent circulating experience in outpatient surgery center. and
  • If it can be supported operationally training may be offered to applicants having 2 years recent acute care experience in Critical Care/ER. and
  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing and Scrubbing and circulating experience upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: CA upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire and


Preferred:

  • Certified Nurse Operating Room upon hire and
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course upon hire
