Nurse Practitioner Part-Time Day Shift Gibson County

Employee will be expected to:

• Provide nurse practitioner services on-site to inmates at QCHCs facilities.
• Give appropriate medical orders to direct medical and nursing care provided by QCHC nursing staff at sites.
• Document all clinical encounters in the medical record
• Participate in the quality assurance risk management and staff education activities
• Coordinate and communicate with jail administration as necessary
• Participate in meetings with jail administration Sheriffs and/or other county officials as needed; work with off-site healthcare providers as necessary.

Job Requirements:

• Masters degree in Nursing required
• Must have current and valid CRNP
• Must have current unencumbered license in the state of practice
• 1-3 years of previous Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
• Experience working in corrections preferred
• Current BLS certified
