Job Summary:

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is actively seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice advanced state-of-the-art medicine in a collaborative environment supported by experienced physicians and a dedicated nursing staff.

Job Duties:

Position Highlights:

• 14 shifts/monthwith a mix ofday and night (nocturnal stipend offered) 12-hour shifts(7 am7 pm or 7 pm7 am)
• Work alongside critical care physicians in acollaborative team-based model
• Provide comprehensive care: assessment planning education treatment and follow-up
• Learn and perform procedures: Central Lines Temporary dialysis catheters Arterial lines with the opportunity to learn others
• Serve as apatient advocate liaison and trusted advisor for patients and families
• Opportunity to participate in patient-centered research and a variety of improvement initiatives
• Moonlighting opportunitiesavailable for additional income
